Following an excellent KSY association dinner in London the previous night to commemorate Bir el Gubi, we were up bright and early for David Whitehouse's fascinating talk at the museum on Researching Your British Army Ancestors - lots of people in the audience were keenly taking notes, as David shared his experience of how to use all the different sources of information that are available. We were also delighted to welcome Angela Haymonds and her daughters for their first visit to Hever. Angela is the Trust Secretary of the Cory Environmental Trust in Britain, one of our major donors.
Then it was time to go inside museum to inspect and admire the new wall panels that Dan Taylor has created for the period from 1939 to the present day. They look fantastic.
