The Kent and Sharpshooters Yeomanry Museum celebrates the history of our regiment from 1794 to today. We successfully raised funds to redevelop our museum in the grounds of Hever Castle, near Edenbridge, Kent, which opened on 6th September 2015 and marks the start of our exciting program of activities with schools and the community.
We are looking for part time volunteers to welcome visitors to the museum for a half-day each week, and also for volunteers to help run our program of activities, where the commitment would be one or two half-days or evenings per month.
Full training and support will be given, and we have a budget of £7.50 per day to cover volunteer expenses. We are an equal opportunities employer.
If you have any questions about the roles that are available, or would like more information, please email us at volunteers@ksymuseum.org.uk and we will follow up with you. If you are interested then please download the Potential Interest In Volunteering Form by clicking on the button below and return it to us at volunteers@ksymuseum.org.uk.
