In late 2013 we launched an appeal for £275,000 to fund the fit out and furnishing of a new purpose built museum in the grounds of Hever Castle. In October 2014 we were delighted to announce that we were successful in reaching our fund raising target and our new museum was opened on Sunday 6th September 2015 by HRH Princess Alexandra. You can find a copy of our press release here. We are extremely grateful to all our individual and institutional donors, including large grants received from the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Armed Forces Community Covenant (in partnership with Sevenoaks District Council), the Cory Environmental Trust for Britain, and the Garfield Weston Foundation.
We remain keen to encourage donations to fund the museum for years to come. If you would like to donate, please visit our fundraising page on Virgin Money Giving:
All donations are welcome, and donations over £500 will be honoured on a plaque on the wall of the new museum, with additional recognition given to donors over £1000 and £10,000.
Please email the Gift Aid form to firstname.lastname@example.org. Note: Standing Order Form is an alternative to using the Virgin Money Fund Raising link.
